A gorgeous selection of cotton and viscose threads in various textures and thicknesses, all in one skein. The skein contains 10 different threads measuring 4m (4.37yds) each - 40m (43.68 yards) in total. These threads have all been dyed together and are variegated in colour along their length. Not guaranteed colourfast.

Please note that stock is runnng low on these threads, only one or two left of most colours.

Kogin and sashiko are traditional Japanese embroidery techniques, one is counted and the other free stitched with a running stitch. The authentic threads are 100% cotton with a matt finish and loose twist. Kogin thread is slightly thicker than sashiko thread and can be split and recombined to achieve greater coverage on more open weave fabrics.
