'Dorset Feather Stitchery' was the name given to a style of embroidery popularised by the Dorset Women's Institute in the 1950's which was based on embroidery found on traditional English rural smocks in the latter part of the 19th century.
This design uses a combination of blanket, feather, fly and chain stitch worked in matching wool threads and variegated perle 8. The pouch measures 9 1/2" x 5".
The kitset includes the pattern, instructions, all fabric, wool and threads for you to complete this item.
A variety of colour combinations are available
